As well as office space on the upper floors, there are conference rooms, a cafeteria, and a prestigious lobby on the ground floor from where the building may be accessed. The 110 m long structure, a reinforced concrete skeleton construction with structural shear walls, columns, and prestressed floor slabs is designed as a jointless building. The interim roof which connects both structures consists of steel beams between which a concrete slab is spanned.

COMPANY HEADQUARTERS BASD
A MODERN OFFICE COMPLEX FOR BOSCH IN SCHWÄBISCH-GMÜND
Schwäbisch Gmünd is the largest development and production location for Robert Bosch Automotive Steering GmbH. Southwest of the existing main building, the new company headquarters will be completed by 2017.
The elongated, up to 8 storey building, with its flowing contours dissipates into two separate buildings whose floor plans correspond to isosceles triangles from the second upper floor.
Particularly exciting in this project are the curved geometry of the building and the large cantilevered slabs of up to 5 meters which because of design reasons were completed completely without facade columns.
